Operation Kindness is a no-kill shelter that, when you enter, it becomes apparent that its employees are all huge animal lovers. They don't keep the animals in inhumane, closely confined quarters. They have separate rooms for kittens and lots of toys and space for all the animals. They negotiate on prices and provide each animal's history with the adoption information. Their animals all have their shots, have been spayed or neutered, and have been injected with ID tags, in case they get lost (so they can be returned easily). The staff is great and the atmosphere is uplifting.
