A licensed nurse is available 24 hours daily on call and will be in the office on a regular basis participating in the day to day function of the home-care facility. Our friendly, competent and considerate, all female staff of Nurses. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Resident Tech (RT) are qualified to give the best care to you or your loved ones. Open Arms With Love respects each and every resident, and as they become a part of our extended family we believe it's important that each resident should pass in their own home and familiar surrounding with their loved one and that's why hospice plays such an important role in this facility. As our resident's prognosis change to months and then weeks, we find having hospice on board helps every one who's involve with our resident. With the extra hand from the Aide who assist with baths, feeding, and assisting with incontinent care etc; to the Nurse who comes in and performs the assessment, working along with the physician in making necessary changes regarding medications; the Chaplain who provides the spiritual guidance and helping family and staff with emotional comfort, to the Social Worker who has to give family members information regarding many issues especially preparation of burial/cremation. Having the support from the Hospice community has been extremely helpful. So, therefore, we truly emphasize on the need of this service in our facility to continue enhancing the wonderful care we provide here at Open Arms With Love Inc. Without the partnership of hospice, most of our residents would not be able to pass with dignity and grace in their own home away from home. Also, we do accept residents who receive assistance through the Diversion Program provided by the state of Florida. The Diversion Program enables seniors who financially could not afford to pay the required monthly amount for an ALF to do so by paying a portion contracted with the ALF and the remaining balance by the resident or responsible party. We currently accept members of American Eldercare Plan Long Term Diversion Program and Universal Healthcare Community Diversion Program. The Diversion programs are funded by the State to anyone who meets Medicare criteria and must be eligible for Medicaid. I would be more than happy to discuss the program with you. more

When you or your elderly loved one comes to stay with us at Open Arms With Love they can expect only the best care and attention along with the following services and amenities. supervision and care administered 24 hours daily housekeeping and laundry services provision of three healthy, nutritious home cooked meals with snack in between and at bedtime liaison between physician and client scheduled transport to and from doctor's visits intercom system available at bedside for those who are capable of operating it emergency call light located in bathrooms comfortable living area with fireplace assistance with grooming and hygiene assistance with self administered medications by trained personnel management of the day to day operation of the facility by a trained nurse who is accessible at all times adult day care services available on a weekly/daily and/or hourly basis planned programs of recreational and personal enhancement activities, such as daily exercise, bingo, scrabble etc. pre-wiring for cable TV drop off and pick up of newly ordered prescription We also accept Respite and Hospice residents as long as they meet our admission criteria. more

In case of any medical emergency, we are approximately 20 minutes away from Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge and 25 minutes from Parrish Medical Center in Titusville. Open Arms With Love is very unique and distinguished from all of the smaller facilities and some of the larger ones which are located in the northern and central area of Brevard County, and one of the reasons is, it's owned and operated by a licensed nurse who is available at all times and has a registered nurse as an alternative administrator. The assisted living facility (ALF) has spacious living areas and elegant private and semi-private rooms, each with a large closet area, personal intercom system available at bedside for those who are capable of operating it and a phone at bedside can be connected privately to the jack in your room; otherwise, access to the main phone is available to residents with unlimited local and long distance calling privilege within the USA and Puerto Rico. However, residents should use discretionary time spent on a call. If you or your loved one prefers a furnished room, you can bring a comfortable chair such as a recliner. Also, residents can bring pictures or small personal items to decorate their room. If you or your loved ones would like to bring a TV, our staff will be more than happy to assist in connecting it to our free cable service.
