Great experience, numerous times, at Open Air Modern 7/20/2010

I live in Manhattan and make a point of checking out Open Air Modern's website at least once a week to look for books and furniture. The owner is always respectful and great! When I do go into the shop (I often buy online) the owner, Matthew, makes a point of pulling out a pile of books that are of my interest, fashion photography and midcentury furniture, for me to peruse through. Just a great shop! more

What a wonderful resource! I am an architect and always know that I can come to Open Air Modern for source material! My husband is a fashion designer and he gets his source material here too! They have vintage fashion magazines and great contemporary fiction which makes great subway reading! We also just got a great sofa for our country house--it was a wonderful print and fit right in with our aesthetic! What a great deal! We are so lucky to have this store--great deals in the heart of Greenpoint, and only a short walk from Williamsburg! more
