Nice appearance but horrible food! 12/5/2010

Very nice appearance, however, take a look above the dining area- the fabric covering the ceiling is very dirty and dusty! We just arrived at opening today (Sunday) and the floors were very dusty and dirty as if not cleaned yet! Not to mention how unsanitary to leave the stack of unused plates on the table for customers use. What if I am hacking and sneezing- now the dishes are contaminated. I am really shock the health dept allows this! more

JUST LIKE HOME COOKED FOOD!!! 4/21/2008

The food was excellent. I had pastichio it was to die for! The rest of my family tried all sorts of plates which i dont remember the greek names (thank you to the funny and helpful waiter that described each dish) but we left the restaurant satisfied and full!!! Perfect more

our family just went here tonight. it was snowing and the restaurant was just gorgeous. A++ for the atmosphere! really. appetizer was great, salad and humus, etc. but the main dishes took so long. we had appetizers, and watched other tables get food before our food came, so we thought. the server brought the food to the wrong table. so one of us ate two french fries on the plate before they took it away to serve it at another table. and when our main dishes came, we were famished and delighted. but the food was just too greasy. we ordered the following dishes: Pros: location, location, location on a snowy night Cons: food (go if you are not really hungry) more

Awesome food 2/12/2007

My husband and I discovered Opa about a year ago, and we absolutely love this place. We come here at least once or twice a month and can't get enough of the food. The Taramosalata is excellent, and the Lamb Chop is to die for. Most fish dishes are very good too. Make sure you order the Opa Cheesecake; it is out of this world :-) Service is always great at Opa. We went without a reservation and they were amazingly nice and accomodating. The food is superb. The outside patio is very pretty as it overlooks a lake. The fish is my favorite but my family swears by the skirt steaks and lamb chops. Opaa! more
