Only Yoga is a wonderful place. I started as a beginner almost four years ago (at age 35), have hardly missed a week since, and hope to continue (as do many in the studio) well into my 40's, 50's, 60's, and beyond! I've visited other studios all over the country and each time I return to Only Yoga with an even greater appreciation for John Meredith (owner and teacher) and the Ashtanga practice he's developed at the studio. For new students Only Yoga offers an immersive introduction into the physical and mental benefits of a regular practice. For long time students the class variety and rigor keep you entertained, inspired and challenged. The midtown studio is small enough so you receive personal attention, but large enough so that you have room to move and breath. The classes range from beginning to advanced, with convenient times and moderate prices. It's a great physical space, and a great soulful environment. If you're seeking a nice blend of physical and mental exercise you'll love this place and the people. Not too overly warm and fuzzy, not too hard core gym like. People of all ages, shapes and sizes frequent Only Yoga making it one of the most diverse studios as well. If this is your first time I highly recommend starting with an intro class to learn the basics of the series, proper alignment and the Ashtanga flow. Joining John Meredith, Leigh Mallis and the other wonderful teachers in an ongoing yoga practice has been the best thing I've done for my health and well being?ever.
