The very limiting customer service should drive just about everyone away from this money pit.
10 days for a return is just too limiting, especially with a gift. I can't imagine how many people come across this issue at holiday time. This store is obviously set up as a ""gift"" store so would would think one would base their policies around making the gift receiver happy.
Even the vera bradley website gives a 90 day return policy. I am not asking for much maybe even 30 days.
The item was purchased the saturday before mother's day as most people were shopping for this holiday. We spent our mother's day at the beach and received my gift during vacation, when returning, I decided that the changes to the bowler bag were not what i liked and wanted to return it as to i didn't see anything else I liked. Well, it was already too late for that. I could only do an exchange. completely unacceptable customer service. BEWARE people. A simple fix if the policy must keep around the 10 day window would be to ask the purchaser when the gift would be given and then make a note on the receipt for 10 days after the gift was given. That would give the receiver slightly more time to make their decision.
