I have tried several times to use this shop's used-clothes purchase service, but the low price offered for clothing almost makes it not worth the trip. While I have found some nice toys here, the selection of clothing is not very good, and as another reviewer points out, while they are very selective about what they'll accept from me, I routinely find clothes onthe racks that are stained, torn or damaged. more

Better to Shop than Sell 8/27/2005

I have been on able to find clothing or shoes or books for my children in Once Upon a Child. You need to check there often because their inventory is always changing. They are very picky about what they accept when you try to sell to them. They have a black light that check for stains and they do not want anything with any amount of pilling on it. What is odd to me is they are so picky about what they take from me then I find items with stains, fading, and pilling on the racks. more

Great Clothing 8/11/2005

Once Upon a Child sells new and gently used children's clothing,toys,furniture and gear.I find their clothing prices to be a little steep at times.I have always found their toys and other items to be in great condition.They have a small area where the kids can play.You can also trade in items to sell, and they will give you cash on the spot. more
