Great Sportsbar and Eatery 4/27/2005

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited On The Hill Tavern for the first time a couple of months ago. The food was great and the staff was friendly and cheerful. I have had the steak and chicken tips and they are outstanding and recently I tried some of their daily specials.I was there on a Friday night and found the DJ was outstanding. He played a great mix of music from the 80's to current hip-hop..our group found ourselves dancing at our table all night. I just found out that they are bringing in Live Bands every Thursday night...so there is no doubt I'll be checking that out on Thursday's. Oh yeah, my friends and I recently went in for lunch and we will be BACK !!! The bartender was fantastic, she not only gives you great service ,but makes great drinks and is happy to serve you. Pros: Plenty of parking, Inexpensive, Great staff more

Best Sportsbar in Somerville 3/31/2005

Coolest Beers in town & 16oz Bud Light draft for $2.00 or Pitcher for $7.00. Enjoy watching NCAA games on 2 big screen and also 14 other tv's. Plenty of parking in the lot across the street and also on Broadway. Food was excellent and my favorite is tavern burger. Waitress and Bartenders are very friendly and helpful. Best sportbar in Somerville. Big news for Summer - Tavern will have Directv Baseball package. Go Sox Pros: Inexpensive, Waitress, Parking more

Great food, drinks, and friendly staff 6/4/2004

This place is great for bar food and drinks. The interior is nice with an exposed brick wall. Many TVs to watch all the sporting events, including one huge projector TV. The staff is great, and the trivia man hilarious Pros: Great Bar Food, Big Sports Screen, Trivia Man more
