Nice, clean, 24 hour diner with a really extensive menu. I have eaten here about a half dozen times and I have never been disappointed. Friendly service.\r \r The decor looks new, and even the restrooms are sparkling clean. Easy access from Rt. 1 North or South. ATM machine on premises. more

Not a Fan 12/11/2008

Omega diner is my least favorite diner. I never go there out of my own free will; the two times i've been there, I was forced. I ordered spinach and artichoke dip and it was the worst!! The tortilla chips were stale and the dip was too watery. Also, I ordered hot chocolate once and it looked like there was oil floating on top of my hot chocolate. The quality was awful. It was not worth my money. Also, I ordered tiramasu and it was very dry. \r \r If you are in the area, I would recommend Edison Diner (Rt. 1 S (by Lowes Theater) or one of the all time favorites Skylark Diner (Rt. 1 N Edison) or I believe it is called Somerset Diner, not positive, but the food and service is amazing (it's on Easton Ave, Somerset NJ) more

The Omega Diner serves what you would expect - typical diner fare at a reasonable price. The food isn't anything special but worth it for comfort food. more

GREAT! 6/12/2008

I have to agree with Ms. Genevieve there. This diner is fantastic. They staff is SO SO friendly and the food is great. The service is kind of slow, but I say definitely worth it. The actual diner itself is a great casual setting as well and conveniently located on Route 1! more

I've only been there once really recently. But, from that one experience, it seems to be an overall good diner - it had one of the best wraps that I've had in a while. more

One of the nicer diners in NJ 6/10/2008

Omega is a more upscale diner in NJ with so many choices. If you can't find something on the menu that you like, then I don't know what types of food you eat because this place has it all. Their chocolate chip pancakes are very very good, as are their wraps. The prices are decent but if you pay a little more you could probably go to a little bit of a nicer restaurant. more

There are a lot of choices here and everything is really good. If you can imagine it they have it. I had a buffalo chicken wrap that was great! My friend had a gyro that she loved. They also do take out which is really nice. more

A Great Diner 3/24/2008

The Omega Diner and Cafe is a great place to eat with family or friends. The diner is conveniently open 24 hours which is great if you are staying up all night and get hungry. The food is very good and very well priced. The service is okay, some waiters/waitresses are better than others. Overall, I enjoy going here and recommend it! more

Very Classy...for a Diner 3/22/2008

The Omega diner is a great diner to go to if you are looking for an atmosphere that does not resemble one of a diner at all. The interior is nicely decorated so that you feel as if you are in an actual resturant. One popular highlight of this diner is their "create-you-own pancakes", where you have the option to put whatever you please on your pancakes, from banans to chocolate and peanut butter. If you are looking for a resturant atmosphere with classic diner food and prices, this is the place to go. more

Decent 2/3/2008

This diner is only okay. The food is not spectacular, but it is also not terrible. The prices are fairly cheap. The place is usually crowded though, so it is possible that there are a lot of people who really enjoy it. more

It provides a children s menu that includes grilled cheese, hamburger, and chicken fingers. Omega Diner Cafe also offers catering services.
