Head over to the children's museum if you want something more educational for the kids then a movie. They are plenty of things for the kids to do and you will be entertained watching them too. They have several different types of exhibits where you might even learn something that you didn't know! Great fun for the whole family! more

This is not like an adult museum but they (the adults) will still enjoy it. This is a place where kids can touch things. It is well thought out and very creative and entertaining. You should plan on spending the day there, because there is so much to see and do. Fun for kids and the parents. more

Children's Museum 9/23/2005

Great place for kids. Everything is hands on and you should be safe with all but the most destructive of little rugrats. Next time yer thinking Chuck E Cheese, skip it. Take the kids to Don Carmello's pizza on 38th Farnam then a quick jot down to the Children's museum. Better pizza, more educational, more family-involved and no strangers in rodent costumes prancing around - everyone wins! more

Fun for the Family 8/5/2005

The Omaha Childrens Museum is a really great place to take elementary-school aged kids. There is a replica of a grocery store, a mini- tv news studio and all kinds of fun scientific activities. It makes learning fun. They also have some great special exhibits - the one I remember the most is the Dinosaurs. The gift shop is full of really intersting and different toys and books for the kids. The admission is very reasonable! more
