Awful Imitation of Greek 9/26/2010

Wow, we love Greek food, but we were the only ones in on a Thursday night, two more tables came later, but it was 8:00 and empty. Should have been a clue. I ordered gigantes beans, they were crunchy = not cooked. Then the $10 appetizer plate was three cubes of feta, two slices of Roma tomato and a whole bunch of green peppers and Greek olives. About $2 worth. The moussaka was dried out and had no taste, really inedible, and I ate only a few bites. The bright spot - my husband ordered lamb chops and they were great. Good service, nice people, OK atmosphere, but I don't care for paper over the tablecloth, won't go back. more

Great Greek food! My husband and I went here looking for something different and we loved this place! The food was to die for and the prices were reasonable. PLUS they have a belly dancer ! Pros: Great food and entertainment Cons: Not open for lunch more

a new favorite 8/27/2007

On a Friday night, the place is packed! The entertainment is pretty good and the food is excellent. The wine list is quite extensive and everything is reasonably priced. My only complaint was that it took the waitress forever to bring our table our checks (there were 4 of us and 4 separate checks), my check did not come until later so the rest of the group had to wait longer, and once we handed her our checks and credit cards, it took 20+ minutes to ring up 3 credit cards and another 15 minutes for the fourth. Pros: wide variety of food and wine; reasonable prices; great location Cons: parking is very tight; paying took forever more

no other place like it in orlando. Pros: great food and entertainment/ and no charge for the latter! Cons: gets very hectic on friday/saturday/but u can avoid by going during weekdays more

Good, plentiful food (esp. lamb and beef), and belly dancing too! 8/10/2006

Olympia can be a bipolar restaurant. If you arrive when there's no belly dancing or bouzouki playing, it's a very quiet place, with consistently good meat, and excellent service. Once the shows start, though, the place gets packed, despite it being as large as it is. So get there early, have some saganaki, order the Hercules platter, then kick back with some retsina and enjoy the show. (The lead belly dancer teaches classes, BTW.) Incredible 12/11/2005

The service was good. The prices were reasonable. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Get a bottle of wine and enjoy the evening. more
