The food, was very good. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was plentiful and delicious. My husband had a dish, I can't recall the name, that consisted of little packets of pasta stuffed with cheese and mushrooms in what seemed to be a roasted red pepper sauce. Very good. more

Tasty and Delicate 6/16/2011

Tables for two run out of real estate fast. The fresh baked garlic breadsticks were tasty and delicate. Olive oil, parmesan, and pepper were on the table to compose a dipping sauce as desired. The popular angel hair crab balls were very good. more

Great Meal 6/13/2011

Three good sized crab balls are individually wrapped in angel hair pasta and deep fried and accompanied with a cream sauce. The cappaciola ham and shrimp tasted good in the mornay sauce but was overcooked. The signature beef tenderloin is a must have. Pasta is executed al dente with light sauces. I tried the homemade key lime tart. It's a good choice for both serving size and almost-as-good-as Florida key lime taste in the proper graham cracker crust. more

Went to Oliverio's on a Saturday evening and had a superb meal and excellent service. When we arrived it was early and already every table was taken, but our wait was only about 10 minutes. Our waiter, Marcus, was a seasoned server who was prompt, personable, made great suggestions and had a wonderful sense of humor and took time to chat, but also gave us privacy as he would discretely clear out plates.... more

I love steak and despite my skeptism, ordered a steak in a restaurant known for it's pasta dishes and can honestly say it was the best steak I've ever had! Great breadsticks, wonderful stuffed mushrooms, the fettucine alfredo was to die for...couldn't have asked for better. If you get the chance give it a try, you won't be disappointed! more

Review Italia style: The place is great and has great food too. The staff treats you well and on top of that the environment looks like that of a real time italian restaurant straight from Italy not like it has been americanized. Definitely worth checking out and shelling out a few bucks for. more

attentive and social with our group 5/17/2011

The waiters/waitresses were attentive and social with our group. They had clearly put on parties of this type before, and knew the routine. The atmosphere was quiet outside where we were (ignoring our own chatter). Inside it was a bit louder and echoed a bit. Good for a romantic time if you can find a quiet corner. more

Oliverio's has a nice location on the revitalized Waterfront area. The nearby pay parking is convenient and $1 or less. The decor is urban warehouse accented by framed pictures and posters. The service was efficient and attentive. more

The atmosphere is very nice with dimmed lights and candlelit tables. They have an excellent wine selection. The food is tasty and well made. The restaurant is excellent in the warmer months, as they open the back deck and you can enjoy your meal overlooking the river. :) more

WE were happy with Oliverios 4/20/2011

In the early afternoon, as we walked to mountaineer field, we made a reservation for 7:30pm. The Mountaineers had won the game. We all went back to our respective dwellings, and met up looking clean at "Oliverios". It was worth the dress, because of family, and the meal was great, and the delivery was of great bread and spiced olive-oil WE were happy with Oliverios... more

My brother is the chef at Oliverio's he has done such a great job with the place, the wait staff i personally think is great, this is from a guest's point of view and i'm also a soon to be sous chef, so i think it's an excellent choice. more

Good food and a friendly staff 4/18/2011

Can't wait for spring on the deck, but good always: Good food and a friendly staff make Oliverios a treat any time of year but warm evenings in their outdoor dining area make this a special treat. Start off with the calamari which dispite being landlocked in WV is always good and tender. I've never had anything bad there but they excel at the traditional favorites. Their scampi is my usual choice. Save room for desert as you people watch the locals on the Rail Trail. If you're looking for a way to unwind this is your ticket. more

what could be better? 4/15/2011

Not New York City. . .but not bad at all. The food was wonderful, the service was designed to allow for suttle conversation between courses, it was quite and spacious. What more could you ask for Morgantown?? If you wanted Chettars, Cracker Barrel and the rest of the casual junk. . .head for the mall. Prices here were great....certainly not NYC, the wine selection was adequate, the beer cold...what could be better? Take my recommendation and give it a try!! more

This is a very nice Italian restaurant along the waterfront in downtown Morgantown. My wife and I dined here recently while staying at the Warterfront Hotel, a short 5 minute walk. more
