Have been to this place a few times for a cocktail but never tried the food. I finally had dinner there a few weeks ago and was very impressed with not only the food, but the service we received, the attentiveness of our waiter (throughout the 5+ hours we were there) and the wine. We ordered the Domaine Chandon, Carneros Pinot Noir and it was excellent. Easily one of the best Pinot’s I have ever had. For dinner we had the SALMONE Scozzese which was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We also had their pasta special of the night which consisted of some sort of sausage meat and truffles. The pasta was cooked to perfection (not too hard, not too soft but just right). Both dishes were excellent but the pasta dish was my favorite. The wine was so good I think we had 6-7 glasses between the two of us. But the best part of our experience was our waiter, Ricardo. He was so polite, treated us with the utmost respect and was extremely attentive. After our meal, Ricardo treated us to desert on the house. We asked him if we could move outside to enjoy desert by the pool in one of the cabanas (there was only one left by this time) and we were seated within 5 minutes. Just outstanding VIP service all the way. I cannot say enough great things about Ricardo. If you ever get the chance to try this place out, I hope that you are lucky enough to have him as your waiter.
