Oliver's was an unexpected surprised when I moved to Harrah. A place in a rural community that lacks a McDonald's has a Greek/Italian fast-food joint owned by an Iranian that serves gyros? The gyros are typically good, though sometimes can be dry. Some of my family prefers the chicken gyros, and for a time instead of using gyros-style chicken meat they used whole-breast chicken and wrapped it in a pita--not a gyros. The pizza isn't expensive, nor is it cheap, but it's a pretty damned good piece of pie.
The french fries that come with the gyros vary--sometimes they're plain-old shoestring french fries, sometimes they're the seasoned sort, sometimes they're crinkle cut. I suspect he buys whatever is cheapest.
For years they did not accept credit or debit cards, only cash or checks (and with checks he required TWO phone numbers. The owner posts the names of people with bad checks on a board in the kitchen). They had an ATM to swindle you out of $3 for a cash withdrawal charge, but I've heard they recently allow for credit transactions.
The owner really seems stingy and unfriendly. Most pizza places allow a pizza to be half/half toppings for no extra charge--if you want a half/half pizza you'll pay the same price you would for two toppings across th entire pie.
Summed-up: if you feel like a gyros or a decent pizza, stop by. Just don't expect the owner to be your new best friend.
Pros: Good pizza, good gyros for a good price
Cons: Terribly unfriendly owner, often apathetic staff.
