The founder of Olive Tree Mohamed Siraj Salahudeen has been in the hospitality and management field for over 15 years. Having managed a few five and four star banquet halls and restaurants, he wanted to evolve the community with a new idea. He wanted to combine quality and authenticity with his professionalism and produce an environment in which guests could not just satisfy their hunger but to fall in love with what they eat. With this objective as his mission, Siraj introduced Olive Tree in January of 2010. Olive Tree is an exclusive fine dining restaurant featuring traditional Italian Cuisine. It is also the first Italian restaurant in the heart of New York City to serve Halal food. On demand, the customer can be served with either the traditional cuisine or the fusion.
