Unsatisfying Olive Garden, in my opinion 10/25/2010

Bad Service and cold food. I have been to may Olive Gardens in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Washington. I had bee driving for hours and some how my GPS ran me right onto Burnside as we were moving to another highway. It was later in the evening and was beginning to tire and was in need of dinner. The staff appeared to be more concerned about cleaning up for the next days business than taking care of the few customers that were dining. No offers for more soup, salad, or bread sticks, meal was luke warm and veggies were soft and mushy. I was hungry and ate it as we had to move on. I thought that the Olive Garden would be a sure bet .... but you luck folks in Gresham have the worst Olive Garden that I have ever visited. From what I see from other diners, it appears I am not the only one that feels that way. more

Good food, bad service. 7/18/2010

I love Olive Garden, my family and I have been going there for the longest time. The food is always amazing and there service really good. I went there twice in the last past month and got the same waitress. Both times were a bad experience because of her. I honesly dont know how she got hired there, I mean most of the time the waiters/ess are very friendly and outgoing. Our waitress was so sad looking, rude, and didnt find the time to want to help my gf and I. I dont want to say her name but she has brown hair and glasses, fairly around her 40's. We both felt like it was bad to ask for more soup and bread. (which normaly its always the waiter/ess asking us if we want more). Thats not how you should be feeling at a nice restraunt, and when she did bring our bread it was 2 pieces!!!. Very disapointed with her service. I did leave a 15% tip but had I not been a nice person I would have left nothing. I would recommend this restraunt to people because of the food and other waiters/ess, BUT hopfuly you dont get the same waitress as we did. Pros: food was good Cons: waitress was very disapointing more

Quit Bitching 8/18/2009

I don't know if any of you have worked in the service industry, but some, or should I say a large amount of customers are extremely rude. If you don't like a place, don't eat there and stop bitching. And if you can't afford to tip.... You can't afford to eat out. more

My Absolute Favorite Italian Restaurant! 8/23/2005

The best salad and breadsticks ever! I love the "feel" of the restaurant. It can seem a bit pricey and its usually crowded. I think the tables are too close together. But, the food is great. They keep adding new entrees to their menu, so there's never a reason to be bored with the selection. Pros: Nice Ambiance, Great Food Cons: A little pricey, too crowded more

Waitstaff 7/11/2005

We had two waiters for a party of 9 and they added an 18% automatic tip. One of the two waiters was so impatient and unfriendly that it really made me mad to have to give him any of the tip because the other guy was fantastic. Not fair. more

Awlful customer service !!! 6/26/2005

I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this Olive Garden !!\r \r Unless they changed management, and the entire staff the since Nov. 2003, expect not only longer-than-usual delays for a Olive Garden restaraunt, but very air-headed staff and management.\r \r I was treated here for my birthday, and the server ( who coincidentally had the same first name as me ) gave away the surprise birthday wishes that were meant for me, thereby ruining the evening all together, since I wasn't expecting this. \r \r Naturally, an aquaintance of the family who treated us to this, spoke with the manager, whose name was Leany or Lenny, something like that, and even though the manager didn't charge for the food we had ordered, the server never apologized to us for ruining what was told to her in secrecy was a surprise birthday party. \r \r I actually visited this establishment 2 other times before, and all 3 visits just go worse from one to the other. They will never see me in there again !!! more

Overpriced Average Italian Food 5/4/2004

This is overpriced average food. The salad was too salty. The Shellfish combo on pasta was average and was overpriced. The wine was good but the service was slow and he brought the wrong food to my neice. It was my sister's 60th birthday and I don't think we will return to this place. The waiter was new and you could tell that he should not have been waiting on tables yet, they need a better training system. Pros: Wine Cons: , Salty, Slow Service more
