Ditch mediocrity! Eat at Le Nonne instead 4/28/2009

Olive Garden has a history of mediocrity and I'm amazed that they have flourished as a chain in this country. Every SINGLE time I've eaten something that just sounds like it should be divine, I have been disappointed. I have tried eating there many times over the past 15 years of my life (never by my own choice - it's always a group that wants to go, so I settle. And I do mean settle). My advice? Don't bother. Save your money and taste buds and visit our local Le Nonne for REAL Italian food that is out of this world. Pros: Atmosphere isn't too bad Cons: Everything else. I cook better food at home! more

The worst Olive Garden I've Ever Eaten At 10/3/2006

Normally, I love the Olive Garden. The different chains I've been to around the country have been really great. However, the Logan restaurant is definitely below par. One of my favorite dishes there, "Seafood Portofino" is awful at the Logan location. The scalops are about the diameter of the tip of my pinky. The salad and breadsticks, and the desert are the only things I've had there that are as great in Logan as anywhere else. Pros: Great Desert Cons: Horrible Service, and Food more

  • In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.
