Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I ended up going here on my birthday with my family. The environment is not welcoming at all. We were seated first in a very cold area. Of course, we asked to switch seats. The seats & tables cheapened the whole look even more. The waitress was unfriendly and cold. Anyways, I ordered some meat with chicken and as I was finishing the meal my stomach started to hurt. All of a sudden I was pale, felt dizzy, and my blood pressure was very low. The ambulance ended up coming to the restaurant and I ended up going to the hospital. I had food poisoning and didn't get home on time to celebrate my Birthday. I did not do anything unusual that day so it is clear it was food poisoning from the food they served. And on top of everything, I now have very expensive medical bills that are not fully covered by insurance. Needless to say that I will NEVER IN MY LIFE COME TO THE OLIVE GARDEN AGAIN!!!!!! more

Yum, no wonder there's always an hour wait for dinner during prime times. The food is really good, not to mention the salad (or soup) and breadsticks that come with every entree! The breadsticks are always warm, and they are really good. The pasta dishes are really good, not skimping on the veggies or meat. The sauces such as marinara and alfredo are also very delicious. You can't forget the dessert! The tirimisu is one of the best I've had. It is indulgent! Also, for dinner, they usually ask if you'd like to have a taste of the wine. I think the prices here are very reasonable. Most of the time, I usually have left overs :) more

The wait here on weekends is consistently between 1.5-2 hours. However, I think it's worth the wait and apparently alot of other people do too. Every entree comes with unlimited breadsticks that are really yummy and either unlimited salad or soup. The drinks are very good too. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are also very good for the amount of food that you get. more
