This is possibly the worst sit down Chinese restaurant in the area. I have eaten there several times givin them second and third chances thinking it might be a ""bad day"", but it has been consistently bad enough for me to never return. Not so much the food quality, but the smugness of the service. It always seems like there is an attitude from the server/hostess, and I have never seen more than 10 people in there at one time. In addition, the bathrooms are as dirty as they are in China. Don't ask, I've been there.\r
Now for the food quality. They claim it is real ""Szechwaun food"". I asked for my food not spicy at all. It came out swimming in grease and HOT red peppers were in it. I told him I didn't want it spicy. He said, ""why don't you order something else next time, this is ""real"" Szechwaun food"". That alone is enough said. Isn't it customary in this country to offer a replacement if the customer isn't satisfied? I think so. Is this asking too much.\r
On another note, I ordered a lunch special. The menu specifically said that lunch specials come with an eggroll. I didn't get one. I asked why, and they said ""That is for the American menu only"". Okay, since I am Chinese, I don't get one? GMAFB!!!!!!!! My recommmendations coming from a real Chinese guy like myself is House of Emperor, Fabulous Noodles, or Joy Yee's Noodle shop. Even Panda inn is better than a place like Szechwan Garden. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: Steamed rice is only recommendation
Cons: Service is horrible. Food is greasy. Location is hard to get in/out of. Dirty bathrooms.
