You don't go to the Olive Garden expecting an authentic Italian meal. You go because you no that the food will always taste pleasant, and you will always leave feeling full. You get unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks with every meal, so I'm often already full by the time I get my entree. Which is rather nice, because it just means I have leftovers for the next day. For dinner, the eggplant parmesan is always consistent and unlike many other places, you actually get some eggplant with your breading. But the best part is dessert. I've never had dessert there I didn't like, and a slice of a torte and a glass of wine or cup of coffee is a little bit of heaven.
