A better Italian chain 4/14/2006

You don't go to the Olive Garden expecting an authentic Italian meal. You go because you no that the food will always taste pleasant, and you will always leave feeling full. You get unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks with every meal, so I'm often already full by the time I get my entree. Which is rather nice, because it just means I have leftovers for the next day. For dinner, the eggplant parmesan is always consistent and unlike many other places, you actually get some eggplant with your breading. But the best part is dessert. I've never had dessert there I didn't like, and a slice of a torte and a glass of wine or cup of coffee is a little bit of heaven. more

Kids Love It 4/8/2006

My kids love this place for their bene (breadsticks). Definitely order a side of alfredo sauce to dip the bread in. I recommend going for lunch – the wait won’t be as long and the prices are much better. They do have a little separate room, if you have a larger group that is nice when having dinner with extra family. more

Fabulous Lunch Specials... 4/3/2006

We love going to the Olive Garden for their unlimited soup, salad and bread stick lunch. It's around $5 and you get your choice of 3 soups. I always get an extra side of alfredo sauce to dip the bread sticks in and boy is it good! I probably gain several pounds each time eat there so I have to watch that but their food is very good and their staff is friendly. more

Olive Garden. 3/30/2006

I like the Olive Garden. I think their meals aren't spectacular but they still certainly taste good. I think their desserts are really good though. Whenever I choose Olive Garden for dinner it's definitely because I am craving one of their desserts (usually the lemon cake). The only problem with Olive Garden is they can get pretty busy so sometimes there can be quite a long wait. It's not too bad and if you go for an early dinner you shouldn't have that problem. more
