Respectful, Kind, Genuine, Patient 8/14/2011

We had my dad's remains placed here and I had to fly in for the ceremony. They were incredibly patient (my brother and I were late due to our flight) and kind. I felt that my dad will be well cared for. Also, the place is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time. more

Shop around for a more respectful company 3/6/2011

My son died at the age of 23 in 2010. I buried him at Mt Lindo because of the cross on the hill. I must tell you working with the Olinger company has been a very bad experience. They are very fake, just working it for what they can talk you into purchasing. After they got my check I could not get return phones calls. I paid $5K for the spot, $1,500 to open the spot and $500 for doing it on a saturday. This week they removed the items friends and family left at the grave site of my son and a few others around him and didn't even return the items to the family. They have no respect for families grieving their lost loved ones and I will not bury another family member with them. Shop around you can get a better price with a company more deserving. more

Hike for Hospice at Olinger Mount Lindo 6/13/2008

Olinger Mount Lindo offers amazing views of downtown Denver and the foothills. Each year, Hike for Hospice, a fundraiser for Porter Hospice and St. Anthony Hospice is held at Olinger Mount Lindo. For more than twenty years, these hospice programs have helped thousands of people through their end-of-life journey, giving them comfort and peace at a time when they need it most. All funds raised from Hike for Hospice go directly back into our hospice programs to provide assistance for patients and their families including: chaplain and bereavement support, integrative therapies, services at the 18-bed residential Johnson Center; and palliative care for children through the Butterfly Program. This year, the event will be held Sunday, June 22, 2008. Hikers enjoy beautiful views as they climb to 7,600 feet to the top of Olinger Mount Lindo, home of the illuminated cross. Hikers can release a dove at the summit in honor or memory of a loved one while overlooking downtown Denver and the foothills. Leashed dogs are also welcome to hike. For more information and to register, contact Kathie Repola, Executive Director for Porter Hospice and St. Anthony Hospice Foundations at (303)715-7615. more
