I have never been to a cavern before, although my husband has been to many. Going in I had zero expectations, and while my husband had high expectations, we both left completely disappointed. The cost per person is $9 for an approx. 40 minute self-guided tour of 5 cavern areas. I'm one who can easily turn a 40 minute tour into a 2 hour ordeal...however we were in and out in 20 minutes. There was so very little to see. The audio stated there were names and dates and possible photos carved into the walls, however I looked all over but didn't see any. One tiny ""room"" (maybe 12'x4') contained ""stalactites"" that don't hardly resemble stalactites, they were completely unimpressive. In my opinion, this attraction is worth driving by. Keep going 3 more miles down the road and visit the Columbus Zoo instead.
Pros: Nice picnic area & clean restrooms. Had a miniature golf course (but we didn't play it)
Cons: High price for such a quick self-guided tour, not fun or interesting
