Do not use this restaurant for a special event. It was embarrassing how botched our recent event was. It was like they had never hosted an event in their private room before. From start to finish, it was a parade of inefficiency, ineptitude, and apathy. We are so sorry that we used this restaurant. more

absolute worst service anywhere in suwanee . i had to get us napkins & plates, the server rarely cleaned off the table and our friend was charged for drinks he never even ordered. more

Definitely ""NOT"" dog friendly. 6/2/2012

Definitely ""NOT"" dog friendly. Visiting the area and went on-line to find dog friendly restaurants. Suwanee Ga has Saturday dog walk in the park. Beautiful town hall with park and surrounding shops. Restaurants all have patio areas overlooking the park. Went in to Olde Towne Tavern sat down with my dog. I take him everywhere so like always he sat behind my chair next to the wall. Someone took my drink order and brought me a menu. While looking over the menu I was told I would need to tie my dog up on the curb next to the road. He hadn't moved an inch. When I said that they were listed as ""Dog Friendly"" , I was told ""Yes"" they were but that meant tie him up on the curb. By this logic ""ALL"" business are dog friendly. UP DATE. SINCE I POSTED THIS REVIEW, THE MANAGEMENT HAS THREATENED ME FOR WRITING MY REVIEW. NOT ONLY ARE THEY POORLY MANAGED THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CRYBABIES. If you like dogs ""AVOID"" this place. more

Love lawrenceville & Suwanne locations! 12/18/2011

We live between the 2 locations and love them both! Great selection! My whole family can find something they love here! Our favorites are the wild pie, pizzas, prime rib, filet and burgundy mushrooms are a great side! Can't wait for the weather to warm back up so we can come out on the patio! Love the park view! more

Not a good experience 8/9/2011

Had dinner there this past Monday, food was not good at all. My son's hot dog bun was served with mold on it. I had the Tavern salad, chicken was very dry. I ordered the half portion, which was put in a bowl way too small for the amount of salad, it was falling out on the table. My husband also had a salad, chicken tender, wasn't happy with it at all. Chicken was dry, lots of brown lettuce. more

Probably will not return...UGH !!!!!! 5/7/2011

My husband and I ate dinner here for the very first time. We just moved to Suwanee and eat out about 5 nights a week. So with some excitement we went for a 6:00 dinner on a Saturday evening. (May 8th) Other than the onion rings being some of the best and the tilapia quite tasty, we cannot think of a reason to go back. Our waitress was more interested in serving what ever function was upstairs. We waiting for our drinks, waited for our food...which was cold when we recieved it, and our order was not correct!!! Our waitress didn't even apologize when our food was cold or incorrect. This had nothng to do with the young woman who was training that evening. We are very easy going people and don't complain much. Had I seen the manager we would have said how disappointed we were. And what dinner comes with out some crackers, dinner rolls,...something to nibble on while the food sits and gets cold in the kitchen. We felt toally neglected, did not hear any specials nor did we hear about the luchious desserts we saw on our way out..UGH!!!! more

Suwanee's Best Steak House 5/6/2011

My wife, son and his girlfriend went to the restaurant last night. We were prepared to have their standard menu when the server presented us with their new Chop House Menu!! I want to tell you, forget Stoney River, Long Horn, Bones, NY Prime..... The filets, NY Strip, and Prime Rib was the best we ever had!!!! We had all the steaks at the other places they were good but were expensive. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw a 10 oz Prime Filet cooked in a 1800 degree Broiler for $25.00 THAT was unreal!! You can't buy a better steak anywhere. So my friends, do yourself a favor and head over to Olde Towne Tavern in Suwanee and it will be the best food for the price around.. Sam more

DELISH New ""Chop House Menu"" in SUWANEE!!! 4/20/2011

My husband and I just had dinner at Olde Towne Tavern and Grille in Suwanee, GA tonight and tried out their new ""Chop House Menu"" and the steaks were INCREDIBLE!!! We have been to all of the top of the line steak houses in GA and their's were hands down the BEST we ever had!!! It was a very INEXPENSIVE price for the HUGE size and QUALITY of meat, plus it came with two sides! I am a very picky eater and am notorious for sending my filet minon's back if they aren't cooked just right, but I have to say that I was plesantly surprised at how PERFECT they cooked my 10 oz. filet minon! Medium rare, cooked just how I love it! My husband got the ""Surf and Turf"" with the lobster tail and filet minon and loved it too! We are hooked and now have a new steak house to eat at with a fraction of what it would normally cost us! Oh, and the CARROT CAKE for dessert was to die for!!! more

FOR WHITES ONLY!!! 4/12/2011

Not a comfortable place to eat if you are not white. Born and raised in the US still people there will make you feel that you're from a different planet. The food is not bad if you can deal with the stare and being treated differently. I?m a professional person and have lived in Suwanee for a few years. Not use to the treatment, but I see that it still happens. more

Suwanee Just as good as Lville! 10/29/2010

I normally go to the Lawrenceville location because it's close to home and work. Met some guys at the Suwanee location and wow! I was blown away! The place is awesome, bar is so interesting and love the patio bar where the window completly opens to overlook the park. They had great jams on, the place was packed and we had a blast. Bar staff was very friendly and attentive. I look forward to more guys nights at this locations! more

Impressed 8/18/2010

New to Georgia and have landed in the Suwanee area. I love reading reviews to choose new places to go to but rarely write my own. This place looked interesting and, even though slightly hesitant of the other review that stated a health score of 86, I tried this place out. LOVED IT! The hesitation was immediately washed away and saw that they boasted a 94 health score...things must have changed! The bar staff was amazing and very friendly. They were passing around appetizers (which is something they apparently do on fridays between 4 and 6) and I had a fried pickle. Delish. Had a good old fashioned hamburger for dinner and it was perfect. Cooked to order with fresh toppings. I'll definitely return, and next time I'll save room for some of there terrific looking desserts! Thanks for the new hang out Olde Towne! more

Great bar, best pizza in Atlanta area 11/12/2009

I've been to Olde Towne Tavern a couple times now. The bar is right on the park. It's a great place to hang out and watch sports. The service is good, the beer is cold and the pizza is great. What more can you ask for. Pros: Great atmosphere right on the park Cons: I haven't experience any yet. more

At most, I can only give a C-grade for this restaurant 7/17/2009

Ordered some appetizers, soup, a prime rib for dinner. Did not get those appetizers or soup first but my prime rib, what kind of restaurant serves your dinner entree before the appetizers or soup? The french onion soup is too salty.... The waitress is sure good looking but definitely perform the service without full heart, did not even get to refill my water .. you call that good service ? lastly, they only score 86 in hygiene. Can't say that is good. Pros: Fast seating Cons: 86 for hygiene, food is salty and service is a OK more

Took my wife and kids for the first time. Great setting with a view of the park. Menu offered something for all including kids pizza. Big plasmas (50""?) but not really like a sports bar. Great job who ever thought of this place. Pros: Good food and service, bar looked fun Cons: Parking was tight more

amazing bar 11/16/2008

This bar is amazing!! I love coming here with my wife to grab a bite to eat and a get a drink. The staff is always so friendly and we've always enjoyed our food. My wife loves their wild pie and I love their draught selection and pizzas!! Pros: very cool bar, tv's, patio, music, service Cons: we are not smokers, so sometimes the smoke bothers us...but not to bad more
