Though the outlet is open sporadically throughout the year--then only for about 4 hours a day--it is well worth the wait. The Old World ornaments are priced at $4 and less, often more than half off the retail price. The stock varies but the selection usually contains more than enough ornaments to appeal to everyone. Made in the traditional style of molded glass ornaments (though now manufactured in China instead of Germany) these ornaments are gorgeous and heirloom quality. During my last visit I picked up an assortment which included a pint of beer, a griffen, a bunch of asparagus, and a more traditional glitter-coated icicle. \r

True the outlet can be crowded with ladies who are a little too competitive when it comes to filling their boxes. Most shoppers, however, are happy to help. During my last visit an elderly lady mentioned to the store that she was looking for a unicorn and when another shopper located one it was happily handed over. Viva la Christmas spirit!
Pros: Prices, Selection, Leaving with glitter in your hair!
Cons: Crowds, lines, digging through boxes.
