If you are a fan of F.Scott Fitzgerald you will enjoy a visit to Old Westbury gardens. Te mansion is magnificently furnished with beautiful 18th century antiques. There are 88 acres (!) of formal gardens that must be seentbe believed. Yes, people actually lived here. Explore the tree lined walks, complete with hundreds of species of plants and peaceful ponds. Take the Lake walk to the temple of Love. Check out the Rainbow Garden planted with flowers in a colors. Strangely beautiful is the Ghost walk, with its giant dark hemlock trees and bronze peacocks.
