Old Town Tire and Automotive Service

Several years ago after my husband passed away, I drove my truck into the Old Town Tire and Auto Service located at 1001 Rio grande Blvd with a list of things I needed done to my truck (of course, I thought I knew what my truck needed because of my vast experience in auto repairs - yeah right!). I told the service man that I needed new tires, new brakes, oil change and tune up and a few other misceallaneous items. I left the truck there - they drove me to work. I got a call later that day and much to my surprise, they told me that my tires were good for at least another year, my brakes were good - just had a some dust in them. They did discover a problem that eventually would become serious if I didn't address soon - within the next year - and was going to be costly (I'm thinking thousands - turns out it was about $300 - whew!). They fixed what was needed and we made plans to have other stuff done when I could afford. Since that experience, I've trusted them with my auto reapairs. They could have made quite a bit of money from me at that initial visit, instead, they've made a loyal customer! what a concept! more

I've been taking my vehicles to the guys at Old Town Tire & Auto for over 10 years and have always been exceptionally pleased by their work. They are the reason why my '86 Honda Accord still hums along happily. My car is ready when promised and if something comes up they call me as soon as they know there will be a delay and let me know what the problem is. The guys are always friendly and courteous and bend over backwards to get the job done. Before finding Old Town Tire & Auto I dreaded taking my car in for repairs and was charged a lot more than the job should have cost. Now I know I'll get great service and a guarantee the guys at Old Town Tire & Auto stand behind. Thanks guys!!! more

By far the worst worst mechanics I have ever been to. Extremely rude and incompetent. The only reason there is multiple positive reviews is because they send you a big long email begging you to give them a good rating. In exchange for giving them a good rating, they give you a $10 oil change. Do not keep you up to date on what is happening with your vehicle, which is probably nothing because they don't meet deadlines. Don't be blinded by the good reviews, it is all a sham for a $10 oil change....why do you think there is so many reviews for their business as opposed to others? more

I took my car there and they had it ready when they told me, and the guys where great with us. The price was excelent I will take it again and again. more

The LAST place I'd bring my car! They will take you for a ride. Warning: Do NOT bring your car there. They will rip you off and charge you for things you never thought of, including the estimate. more

The service was good and reasonably priced. My vehicle was ready when they said it would be and it actually cost less than was originally estimated. I would use them again. more

they offer free check, life time waranty onany tires they install. compred with discount tires and those big names, they do thing as fast, as good, but with less charge. at least for the first year with their tires, I am fine. no leak, no noise, no vibration. friendly people, fast job, good price, what else do you want? by the way, they also offer mobile service, it is especially good in case your flat tire is so bad that you have to tow the car to the shop, that can save you a hundred dollars at least. check it out more
