I've dealt with this bank for 25 years. I had my FIRST overdraft mishap.. Yes ONE In 25 years which is inexcusable I realize.. Their fee of 32.50 created another overdraft misha...

The worst service I have ever had at any banking institution. They will put you and your money in danger. They are old and antiquated. If you don't believe it just look at the old bag doing their commercials. she's got to be the CEO. No one else would think someone who looked like her would make people want to do business with them and put them in a commercial. A true Joke of a bank...Beware more

Had the unfortunate experience of having a car loan financed with them. TERRIBLE service. Leave a message and no one calls back. Why speak with a customer service rep?? Well, their automated system is usually not working. In addition to the above I finally went to a branch for assistance and you can't carry a weapon even with a permit???? Not good, since I was in uniform however no one mentioned me breaking their rules. I would advise no one to bank there. more

check the knob 7/12/2011

I dropped my van off because the a/c would not blow cold, and that i had filled it myself and that it would run cool for a few weeks. Michael said it would run about 40-$75 for freon and dye. They called me 2hrs layer and the lady told me the blower was not working and they would need pull it out, o told them that the blower has always worked and that the knob was broken and that u could pull it off and turn it with wirepliers. She told me he has been working on it for 2hrs and that is was going to cost me 2 hrs of labor for him trying to find out why the blower didnt work. What a ripoff. Now she says it will cost 130$ to charge it with freon because it is empty. I shouldnt have to pay for a mechanics imcomptance, she also told me they still wanted to pullout the blower because it sounded loud, told them to leave blower alone and just figure out why it want blow cold air, this will be the last time i take my vehicle there. more

Not much benefit anymore 7/5/2011

I've dealt with this bank for 25 years. I had my FIRST overdraft mishap.. Yes ONE In 25 years which is inexcusable I realize.. Their fee of 32.50 created another overdraft mishap. They will only remove ONE of the fees as a 'courtesy'. Since there are not that many branches and it's not that convenient, I can get this kind of service at any other banking institution. Use a bank more convenient for you, the service is pretty much the same. more

I just wanted to say that now there are 7 locations in the middle tn area and since these posts were done OHCU hasgreat accounts that allow you to get your fees back when using other atms and they also have up to 90 atms that are free. OHCU also has great rates in auto loans and wonderful rates on their checking accounts. Please check them out. I love my credit union! Oh and by the ways...they have convenient Saturday hours now!!! Pros: loan rates and service Cons: there are none more

Very helpful in time of need 4/1/2006

I have recently had problems with my vehicle. While driving past i began to have immediate need of repair. I pulled in and they instantly took care of my problem and got me back on the road. Not being to where i could go to my regular repair man they treated me and my vehicle great more

worst banking institution i have ever dealt with 9/23/2005

not enought locations, only one branch open on saturday, in greenbriar of all places. have had trouble for many years with employees putting wrong infomation on my account. they have a fee or charge for every thing. tellers have terrible attitudes. why do i stay? it is very difficult to open up accounts with new banks, and ohcu knows this and treats its customers accordingly. more

Good, but very few locations 5/15/2002

I've used Old Hickory Credit Union for a number of years since the original branch is near my home. Good people and good service. I continue to use them, however, only biggest complaint is that they have only a couple of branches and no ATMs spread across town. So anytime I need money downtown, Green Hills, Franklin, I can pretty much count on paying a service fee to use someone else's ATM. Overall, a good CU. Pros: fast service Cons: few branches more
