I went to Old Glory two days ago and got my hair cut by a very nice and friendly hairstylest named Nandu. She gave me a one of the best haircuts I have ever had and was very nice to talk to. I will definitly go back to Old Glory and have Nandu cut my hair in the future. Great haircuts at a great price more

Best Place in Town 2/4/2009

Finally...a place where the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with a very easy going and professional staff. Ask for Nandu. She did a great color and cut for me and I could'nt be happier. I continue to go to her regularly along with several of my friends. She's very knowledgeable and professional about her work...you won't be dissapointed. A great value and very affordable too. Definitely the best place in town! more

I've gotten so many compliments! 12/10/2008

After hearing my boyfriend rave about Jason, I stopped in to get a haircut. I used to go to overpriced salons, but never again! I've never got as many compliments on a haircut as I have with this one- EVER. The cut was reasonably priced ($45), and Jason was super nice. I'd definitely recommend Old Glory to anyone in or out of Venice - it's a gem. Pros: Walk-Ins welcome, great location, fair prices Cons: I didn't get a beer! more

Great Consistent Haircuts! 5/8/2008

It's about time someone opens a shop where you can get a great haircut for a fair price. I've been several times and had my hair cut by three different stylists and all turned out great. The place has a great vibe and they play great tunes as well. The best part is that it's a true ""mom n' pop"" shop - not a corporation and I'm all about supporting small business! Best Haircuts in LA! 4/20/2008

I started going to Old GLory about a year ago. The haircuts by Jason are awesome! He really know his stuff. I wanted a choppy flowy haircut with tons of fun layers, and thats what I got and more. I get compliments on my cut all the time. I used to pay top dollar for many years for my haircut (and not have it be to my liking,) and little did I know, I could stay in my own city, right down the street. I live in Venice, so its always easy to go down to Old Glory for a haircut when I pick up the mail from the postoffice next door. Pros: Good haircuts at fair prices. Cons: Lack of parking- but I usually take my bike anyway. more

Old Glory Barbershop is great, and I definitely recommend it to anyone. Unique atmosphere (a little bit rockabilly, a little bit barbershop, a little bit tattoo shop!), good music, no appointments necessary. Pros: Convenient hours, great atmosphere, cool people more

Great cuts, great prices, great atmosphere 9/7/2006

I moved out from New York a couple of years ago and embarked on a desperate search for a hair salon. My boyfriend found Old Glory and loved it. I wasnt sure if they did womens hair but thankfully, they did. I made a drastic change from long hair to really short and they seemed really excited to help with ideas. First of all this place has a great ambiance to it. While waiting you can give them your cell phone number and go stroll down Venice or kick it in the shop with a free beer. Pros: Great location, fun staff, best shaves and haircuts in the South Bay Cons: Parking can be a challange more

I have been following Erin around for a year now. She does my boyfriend and my hair. She always gets my color exactly right on, and she has a master skill in cutting. I highly reccomond her to any and everyone, her lively personality and exellent skill will leave you feeling like a million bucks. And her prices are extremly reasonable too! more

I've gone to Old Glory since they opened, and I've always gotten a great haircut. I used to go to Jason, but he broke his leg, so now I'm going to Bree, and she's great. Plus she's hot. Everyone in there is really cool, and they are all locals which I like. They always play good music, and are always really nice. I wouldn't go anywhere else...plus haircuts are only 25 bucks!! I recently went in to Old Glory Barbershop for the first time to get my color done, and I am sooooo happy with it! I saw Donna, who not only made me feel really comfortable, but she also had a lot of suggestions to help me figure out what I really wanted. I will always go back to her, and would recommend anyone who wants a great color to do the same. Everyone at the shop was really friendly, and had a nice laid back attitude. So much nicer than going to a stuffy salon. Pros: no appointments, very friendly more

I love this place!! My boyfriend has been going here for awhile, and was always trying to talk me into going with him. I finally did, and now wish I had a lot sooner!! I was paying $75 for a cut with my old stylist, and at Old Glory it's only $40 for women!! Plus I got a way better cut than what I had been getting. The stylist, Lisa, really knew what she was talking about, and made my hair 100 times better than when I walked in. Plus the environment is really cool......it's a barbershop, not a salon. My boyfriend has always been really happy with his hair, and cut's for men are only $25. So you definetely cannot beat the prices here. Pros: good prices more
