One of the guys at our church instigated meeting for breakfast at Old Country Buffet. I have been to OCB numerous times but never for breakfast.
We got there almost right at 8:00, when they open, and so they didn't have a LOT of people crowding in. Big plus.
If you've been there for lunch or dinner, you know they have variety. I didn't actually make it over to the lines where the salads are. But I did see some cereal over there when I glanced. But I didn't pay $8.39 to eat cereal.
They had biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, donuts, eggs (scrambled, over easy, and omelets to order), ham, bacon, sausage links just to name a few. They also had other items that you don't always think of for breakfast (fried chicken, chicken fried steak).
The omelets to order were over in the desserts area. There is no sign pointing that out though. Not sure how one is supposed to discover this since most people don't have "dessert" with their breakfast. But if you do want dessert after your breakfast, don't despair, their dessert area is stocked and running (including the ice cream and yogurt machines).
Just like lunch and dinner, if you leave OCB hungry, you weren't trying.
Check out their web site for a location near you and their menu. http://www.buffet.com/
