Old Cannery Furniture Wrhse

We believe we received the incorrect type of mattress from the Old Cannery. We called to have them correct but they insist the mattress we bought was what we selected. According to their coding the SPT = Super Pillow Top is what we wanted. On the mattress we received the tag reads EPT = Euro Pillow Top. They will not own up to their mistake and re-deliver and pickup the mattress we have with no cost to us.  I got tired of arguing with them on the product and gave up so I figure you guys can investigate because they are selling us lesser priced mattress EPT and saying its a SPT more expensive mattress when it's clearly is not.  more

My daughter recently bought a captain style bed with high end mattress. They sold her a 10" riser to go under it charging another $400. The people installing it said it wasn't necessary but she could return it within 7 days if it was to tall. Well the daughter is only 5'1'' and the bed was nearly as tall as she was. She has arthritis and neuropathy and is not safe for her to go up and down stairs to get into her bed. She called the next day to get them to take it back and was told they could not take it back as she bought it more than 7 days ago. She had but that is not what they told her. She was also told the bed might not be ready the day she wanted it delivered which was a week later. We had to remove the riser to make it safe for her and store it now since they will not take it back. The table she bought had to be taken back as one corner was broken and the second one we got was the same so another trip to return it. Bad company to deal with since they do not stand behind what is told to the customer. In my estimation they should have never sold her the riser in the first place seeing her height. Angry, will never buy anything else there and neither will any of our friends. more

All I am going to say is that I had the worst experience at the old cannery picking up my new living room furniture, which wasn't cheap. I dealt with one of the rudest woman in my life just trying to pickup my purchase. She was very impatient, snotty, and just plain rude. I never complain, but when I finally got my furniture loaded into my trailer, and started driving away, I forced myself to stop, go back into the old cannery, and speak with the manger about what just happened. They said it wasn't the first complaint with this employee, so I really hope they have resolved this matter. I will not go back. Christensen's Furniture in Yelm has way better prices and the staff is awesome. They are worth the drive if you are closer to the cannery. Thanks more

Parents went to just look, and ended up finding not only 2 matching corner curios, but a corner computer desk that they were able to convert into a pantry (that also matched). The salesman was not pushy at all, and helped them come up with the idea to convert the desk, so that they wouldn't have to spend an extra 400 to get the designed pantry itself. more

We bought a table within 6 weeks one of the legs broke off. It was after the stated 30 days on the receipt but thought it wouldn't hurt to call and see what they could do. They were extremely nice and had us bring back the table and pick out another one no hassle we chose a different one and they were awesome and I would recommend them fully. Our new table has never had a problem and all other furniture has been great quality. more

This place has so much furniture you can spend all day there if you are seriously shopping. They have all types of household furniture and the prices are really reasonable. The only downfall is that not all of their furniture has a warranty. But, there are tons of styles and colors to choose from so you can turn pretty much any peace of furniture into something that will work in your house. more

This furniture store is the coolest and cheapest place to find the most up to date materials. I really like this store because you don't have to be a millionaire to design your house like one! They have great deals from beds, rugs, couches, to even little assessories for your garden. The staff are more than friendly and go out of their way to work hard for you. It is in Puyallup which is quite a drive, but it is well worth it. more

I absolutely LOVE the Cannery. We discovered this place on accident while looking for a new desk. We actually had our neighbor watch the kids when we went shopping. When we got there, we realized we made a big mistake. This place is HUGE and full of activities for the kids. Between the mechanical people and animals in each "room", and the free popcorn and train set in the kid's section, your kids will have a blast!! They will even get an old fashioned train whistle and balloon when you check out! No more "are we done yet?" complaining from the kids. Besides the kid factor, the furniture is great. There is a huge selection on hand, and you can special order items that are not on hand. Prices are good and you can always negotiate a better price. And, at Christmas time, they even have Santa there to take pictures with the kids....for FREE!! more

From country kitsch to sophisticated furniture, The Old Cannery has it all. It's enormous, so plan on taking your time to see it all -- the scratch and dent section at the far end is something you won't want to miss. They also have a fudge factory on site so even if you don't find the dining room set you're looking for, (or bedroom set or sofa, etc.) at least you can satisfy your sweet tooth. more

The The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse has the largest selection of furniture I have ever seen. They have every thing from living room sets to dinning room and kitchen sets. They also have a really good fudge shop and a soda fountain just in case you need a snack. Don't go there if you are in a hurry because it will take you a while to browse. The staff is wonderful too. more

The Old Cannery is huge! They have so many choices, whether you are looking for a bedroom set, a dining room set, living room furniture, etc. Don't miss visiting the dent and ding section at the very back of the store, where you can find some great furniture at even great prices. We love the furniture we have bought at The Old Cannery. Bring your stroller if you have kids, and be prepared to have them mesmerized by the elaborate train layout that snakes through the rooms above the furniture. more

I have been going to the old cannery since I was a kid with my mom. They place is awesome insider and the furniture is awesome too. They have a snake bar inside that has really good fudge. They have pretty good prices on the furniture. The people who work there are really nice and make you feel good about buying things there. They are going road construction right nonw so it can be hard to get into but it isn't worth it. more
