I find it interesting that the previous review was so complimentary. I gather it was someone Fran knew, or Fran favored. I found Fran to be curt , rude, and aloof. I thought it was just me, but my daughter and her friend went there to purchase a & a bracelets, and also said they are sooooo rude!. I suppose if I owned such a pretty place, I would be so ugly. The merchandise is what it should be, and they do wrap too. more

cute little store 9/27/2005

One day on my way home from work I drove past this building that used to be an old barn. There was a new sign and a fresh coat of paint. I decided to stop in. What an amazing store. The minute you walk in you feel welcome. The owner, Fran, takes the time to get to know every customer by name. She has everything in her store. You can find anything from Boyd's Bears to Yankee Candles. She has the back half of the store all set up for Boyd's. It's like walking into wonderland. To add a personal touch to your shopping experience, the ladies who work there will personally wrap your presents. This comes in handy for the holidays or birthdays! The Old Blue Barn is definately my favorite store to shop at. more
