Best place for family gatherings 3/10/2008

For about the last 20 yrs, both sides of my family; the Cira's and the McCormack's have always enjoyed ""The Old Barn"". The people really care, and are very hospitable. They have a large banquet room, and the whole entire place is wide open ; so a decent number of people can sit and eat any where! I had my graduation party there, my great aunt and my gramother usually had a birthday party there. There is a lot of variety. My step-daughter loves the desserts! So to sum it all up The Old Barn Out Back is a great place for family gatherings. Pros: Food is great!,people are friendly and prompt Cons: Parking lot is terrible, poor lighting more

This places takes advantage of the older people 10/14/2006

This place takes advantage of the older people who come to eat and pay there check. There are lots of people get together w/ 5 or more people, but each set (couple) pay for there own checks. But what this place does is to put on a 18% sur-charge to everyone's bill. This is not right by taking advantage of the older folks who go to eat there. People should just not pay the extra and take it off. This has got to stop! more

Old Barn 2/15/2006

This was my first time at the resturant. I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. For the cost of the buffet it lacked in choices of vegetables, seeing only mashed potatoes and corn. The food contained a lot of pepper and was not to my tastes. The chicken, although there was a lack of choice between white and dark meat, was very tasty.
