We enjoy Ol' lonesome - regularly! 6/11/2011

My wife and I moved to Grays Harbor from Whatcom County two years ago and were exploring for unique lounges. After experiencing about a few dozen we happened upon Ol' Lonesome. In the first few minutes we were impressed by the original turn of the century (20th) 1916 bar's architecture, but we were more impressed by Jennifer's welcoming smile and conversation! She made us a super customized pizza with Fetta Cheese and hearty servings for toppings. Her and their drinks are real. We promised her we would return - we did and continue to be loyal clients as her crew are also friendly and respectable as well! We highly endorse experiencing fun people, original surroundings and characters too! We especially enjoy NFL season on their screens with beverages. Thanks again Jen,Fred and crew of Ol' Lonesome! Ol' Lonesome Rocks 4/10/2010

The Lonesome has the best pizza around, Jennifer is a great cook and often has dinner specials. They have Bingo every other Tuesday, LADIES night on Thursday, POOL on Fridays and Sundays, and POKER At 7pm every Saturday night and FREE POOL. The bar has a great crowd everyone gets along. If you haven't had a good experience there then maybe you are the problem not the bar. IF you don't have a sense of humor and can't handle a good time then maybe you should stay at home and entertain yourself. Pros: Pizza, Service, fun more

Small pubs normally have the quaint, antiquidated flavor of its Old Country cousins; the Ol' Lonesome FAILS miserably in its attempt to be anything but a bar to avoid. You casual customer does not find simple, old-fashioned hospitality and courtesy he or she would expect. Being ignored completely on many of the occasions I was a patron, this was only bested by the lack of quality in both the drinks and the unbelievably slow, impersonal service. Pros: The pizza. Cons: A drunken soap opera every night. more
