The specialized dental practice of Okemos Pediatric Dentistry, is designed to care for infants, children, adolescents, handicapped and medically compromised patients. The philosophy and underlying goal of our practice is to provide skillful and scientifically sound dental treatment. We strive to offer a compassionate patient approach. Fluoride, hygiene, diet counseling, and sealants for young, permanent teeth are a routine part of our treatment planning. It is our desire to present the highest level of comprehensive dental care that will result in a patient that has optimal dentition and a good feeling about going to the dentist as an adult.
Dr. Melvin Jung received his B.A. degree in Biology from Albion College at Albion, MI in 1991. He earned his doctorate of Medical Dentistry, DMD, from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry at Cleveland, OH in 1995. He went on to complete a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Children?s Hospital of Michigan in 1997.
Dr. Jung is a board certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental association, and American Academy of Pediatrics.
