we took a coupon that they put out and when the check comes the owner would not accept it. so i was going to take it out of what i paid and the owner(dragon lady) said no prob it ...

we took a coupon that they put out and when the check comes the owner would not accept it. so i was going to take it out of what i paid and the owner(dragon lady) said no prob it will come from cook and waitress. we didn't want to cheet them out of their tip so the drangon lady won i will never go back as she is a shaddy mean person. ps if you ask for a substitution she flies off the handle. take your business to a competing restraunt. more

Fantastic Food and Company! 3/2/2007

Oishi is not only a excellent restaurant but they support the community. The owners and managers have loaned us items for a school function and opened their doors to our students. They honestly know the meaning of community. THANKS So MUCH! more

Hoy mackerel what fantastic food! Wife and I went here because of the other reviews we saw here on-line about the sushi. Let me tell you the sushi is to die for. Literally melting in your mouth good. Hot green tea was good too. Highly recommended! more

Fantastic food and family fun 11/18/2006

. After visiting another hibachi rest. near Houston, we decided to try the newly remodeled Oishi. It's our new family favorite! What an awesome place to bond or make new friends.The decor is quiet and calming and Gill is "our" chef of choice. We have all tried new foods and enjoy every visit. Hope to see ya there! more

Remodeled 9/15/2006

Oishi reopened the summer of 2006 after completing the remodeling needed due to the fire. The look has been dramatically improved with heavy Japanese accent, dark colors, and a new bar area with a flat screen TV. They've also separated the hibachi area from the sushi bar. The food is as fantastic as always with some of the best and freshest sushi I've had. I'll be going there tonight! more

The best you can get! 1/10/2006

Oishi's is the best sushi restaurant we have found, anywhere. We love this place so much we go at least twice a week!! I am very upset to report that the restaurant burned down and is in repair, can hardly wait until it get rebuilt. more

AWESOME DINING EXPERIENCE :) 11/2/2005

We went there last night for a friend's birthday dinner & it was my first time there. It was SO GOOD - great presentation & atmosphere - the kids loved it - and out-of-this-world flavorful food! It was so entertaining to watch the chef cook at our table. He even played "happy birthday" song with his spatula on the grill. Very filling too! I highly recommend it!! more
