O.K. I have been eating at Sushi places all over the Bay Area since the late 1970's when they were not as popular as they are today. There have been many good ones that I have attending and some have gone out of business for various reasons and the hunt will then continue for the next favorite. I first went to Ohkura in the 1990's and immediately fell in love. I usually order a Sashimi dinner and before ording, they always start you off with a drink of your choosing. I usually like a little alchohol and order a plum wine and during my sipping, a warm miso soup and salad is served along with two small dishes of a picked cucumber and the other seasoned cabbage. My dinner comes well prepared, looking very attractive with a bowl of rice. In addition I like to order Uni (Sea Urchin) which by the way not every sushi restaurant has due to be expernsive and quick to spoil, but so delicious. It is good if you are trying to impress your date or if you are eating alone, you can order at the sushi bar and enjoy conversation with others. I totally recommend this place.
Pros: It is an overall great place to eat and enjoy the food.
Cons: It is far from the Central Bay area.
