Sports injury rehab 5/1/2013

Dr. Leo and his team have only been working with me for about a week and I already see results. I had been working with another chiropractor and definitely did not see the results I have already seen. If you are an athlete and have any type of injury, definitely give Ohio Sports Chiropractic a call. more

Patella Tendonitis 4/30/2013

After dealing with the issue for 2+ weeks, I made an appointment with Dr. Leo. Everyone at the Ohio Sports Chiropractic facility were incredibly helpful. I called them at the last minute, the day before an out of state event, and they gave me an appt. that evening. The diagnosis, therapy, and exercises provided to me were beyond what I expected. I was able to compete in a very difficult event without any knee pain!! I fully intend to make Ohio Sports Chiropractic my choice for any future needs. more

Problem with my hand 4/30/2013

My right hand had been injured and after eight weeks was still only 80% functional. Dr. Leo, who previously had helped me with knee problems, manipulated my hand and wrist for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, and my hand feels better. The prognosis is good, and I was given precise instructions on what to do to continue toward complete recovery. Dr. Leo allayed my fear that my hand might require surgery! He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, authentic and friendly. more

First time Chiropractic patient! 4/20/2013

Went to Dr. Kormanik after I injured my calf while running my Agility Dog at a trial. In one appointment it was at least 80% better and after the second treatment I'm able to run on it again! I'd highly recommend Ohio Sports Chiropractic for any sports related injury. more

Excellent Experience 3/27/2013

Dr. Kormanik goes above and beyond to treat a couple nagging aches and pains I have from running. This combined with use of the AlterG and I am back in great shape after being down for 10 weeks from a stress fracture. Dr. Kormanik understands our goals and helps us make them possible! Great experience 3/13/2013

Already having some relief after my first ART treatment! Very knowledgeable about my need as an athlete and took the time to explain everything to a greater extent than expected; a different approach than the 'no broken bones, so go do some exercises' advice given by my ortho surgeon. more

Leo treats the issue not just the Symptom 3/13/2013

Leo understands the biomechanics interrelationships of muscles, tendons, and joints. This enables him to effectively treat the source of the issue in addition to the symptoms. In my most recent visit calf tightness was being caused by issues in the lower back and hips. Leo treated all areas, and provided me stretches to help prevent the issue from reoccurring. more

Achilles Work 3/12/2013

Dr. Kormanik II helped ease the strain in my Achilles within two appointments and I was back running without a limp in my stride within two weeks. Also, for a student with insurance that does not cover the treatment, the appointment was extremely affordable. I would highly recommend him. It is a pleasure to go in for my appointments. more

Always a pleasure! 3/6/2013

I have been to Leo multiple times with nagging injuries. As a runner himself he understands that getting his patients back on their feet quickly is a priority. Whether it's my ankle, hips, or back Leo has been able to take care of it all. Most recently he took me in for a visit last second, showing how much he cares about his patients and his craft. I highly recommend Jennie and Leo to any athlete I talk to. more

office visit 3/6/2013

Yesterday was my first visit to Ohio Sports Chiropractic with Dr. Leo Kormanik. I was referred by a runner/client of his. Leo spent a good amount of time understanding my problem and prior treatments before beginning treatment. He is optimistic about the outcome...I've been treated over ten years for chronic and painful plantar fasciitis. It's become almost impossible to run so I'm willing to give his treatment method a try...stay tuned for further updates to my progress. more

Pain no more! 3/6/2013

Dr. Leo has helped me start running again injury free after a couple of months off due to runner's knee/overuse. Only after a couple of sessions was able to gradually increase mileage to the point that I am now running injury free. He also gives you the tools needed to stay strong and injury free going forward. Has also helped relieve pain/soreness in neck and shoulders. He can do it all. No hesitations to make an appointment anytime I have any bit of pain in any part of the body. more

Knowledge is power 3/1/2013

I sustained a lower back injury during a high intensity workout at Summa Wellness Institute. I contacted Ohio Sports Chiropractic late on a Wednesday evening and they were able to fit me in the next morning. I could hardly walk, but after just one session, I was able to see improvement. After my second treatment, I was able to go for a 5 mile run that evening. Leo knows what he is doing. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and effective. Thank you for getting me back to what I enjoy doing. more
