I had ants all over my kitchen, couldn't wipe them off the counters fast enough. I called Official Pest Prevention and they were able to get someone out that same day. The guy they sent out was really nice and took care of the ants for me. more

Read the fine print in the contract. 4/19/2012

Service technicians at my home were great but service over the phone with manager Jesse was horrible. After the one year contract has expired, they automatically schedule an appointment and bill you for it unless you wirte to them and cancel 30 days before your one year anniversary. A selling point they failed to mention or remind you after your last service. Spoke over the phone with their manager and not only would he not work anything out for me but was rude about it. Stick to the more recognized services like Terminix which I will go back to. more

NEVER, NEVER sign anything with Official Pest Prevention 1/3/2012

I just called Official Pest Prevention and was terrified by their Ugly customer service!!! They were very bad with me over the phone, did not want to listen to me at all. Just told me that I signed contract (which they lied me about when I signed it) and they will call a collection agency. and HANG UP!!!! Here the story from the beginning. About 1 year ago someone knocked on my door and sold me 1 year contract which I paid in full when I signed it. They told me it will be for 1 year and that is it. Now when the contract is over they bill me for additional 2 services when I did not get them. NOW they ask to pay for TWO services ($175) what was almost what I paid for whole year. DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!! more

Be flexable using this company 12/15/2011

Great service , they took care of my roach infestation after two applications. I have no complaints about the service people - they did their job and were professional and informative about what they do and why they do it and what they were using. They only problem I had was scheduling appointments. They would call with a next day appointment meaning I had to change my plans to be there for them. Once the schedule was worked out -they provided great service. more

This company have very horrible customer service, along with poor technicians (not all) they cant even follow the service appointment time.. If you want service that you have to fight for or mange their every move then this is the company for you....Stay Away!! more

Excellent service! 7/31/2009

Wow. My wife and kids were freaking out at the spiders that we had in our house. Finally I called Official and we have peace in our home again. Wish I had called sooner. more

Awesome Service 7/29/2009

I had ants so bad we couldn't eat in our kitchen without being attacked. Official sent their guy out and I haven't seen ant one since. Looooooove it! more

Good service 6/26/2009

I called official with pest problems that I doubted they could even help with. I was wrong! Since they started coming out I've had no pest problems at all. I can actually sleep at night and not worry about unwanted visitors. I highly reccommend these guys. Pros: I've got my house back more

This company sends out people who look and act professional. It's nice not to have to follow them around all the time. My old pest control company sent guys to my house that looked like criminals. Pros: All of their people are nice and friendly more

Solid Service 6/25/2009

I've used other pest control companies before and they would spend five minutes and leave. Official Pest Prevention's people are pleasant and they are actually willing to do the job the way I want it done. I used to have black widows around my house, in the garage, and sometimes inside. Now they are gone. Thanks Official. Pros: I don't have spiders crawling around anymore more

DON'T EVER USE 10/20/2008

To Everyone,\r \r Avoid this company at all cost. I am in agreement with everything the previous person stated with the headline AVOID AT ALL COST. I tried to cancel and was told the same thing, you need to send a letter. The letter was sent earlier this month which is what I conveyed to the rude office manager. She continued to repeat the same thing, send a letter. She stated we will send someone to your home anyway. I said for what, I have not seen the person last month, so why send the person this month. They are liars, LIARS and will hustle you out of your money at all cost. more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS 3/13/2008

This is the worst company i have delt with. after my contract was up i tried to cancell service and they said i had to send in a letter . i had to call the local PD to have them stop comming to my house. they weren't spraying and was still charging me. they had a 3 month period where the never even showed up for service and i was still charged. They are clearly good at 1 thing ""fraud"". the office manager is a complete idiot, and has a hard time understanding ""DON""T SEND ANYONE TO MY HOUSE I NO LONGER WANT YOUR LACK OF SERVICE"". Before even considering them do your homework, they have many complaints at local agancies. more

Too harsh. 3/5/2008

The only problem I have is they forced you into a one year contract. Now that I can't afford to live where im at and have to move after 6 months of service, they would not let me out of it. Too harsh in my opinion. more

This is one serious company you won't hear advertised 12/29/2007

I highly recommend the thorough 3 step service followed by the cobwebs & wasp nest cleaning ( a lot of gentle stirring up...) followed by a repellent treatment on eaves as well as foundation, then the 3-5 ft perimeter spray ensures all is well. They come back in a month to treat outside from there on they enforce the barrier every other month. They are official. \r \r p.s. this includes rodents. Pros: pro active Cons: one step is $159 more
