Bad service 1/29/2010

I have been to this place twice. The first time was ok, other than the fact the bartender was an airhead and couldn't run two cards for different amounts. The second time was terrible. The bartender ran my card without permission (before we were done) and claimed she didn't have her glasses on. Then we waited 45 minutes for her to run the card for the tab, but became tired of waiting and paid cash. Of course, there was still a hold on my card after the fact. The drinks were cheap, but you get what you pay for at this place. I don't think there was even a full shot in the mixed drinks. Stick with the beer. Pros: People ok Cons: Bad Service more

Great Place, Small Tab 3/16/2006

It is the neighborhood bar that outlasts every other trendy watering hole in the entire downtown Gilbert historical district. While others try to sway customers with plasmas and corny karaoke, Champions stays true to itself and it's patrons. No fluff here, just good ole' frosty mugs, sexy bartenders and a chain smokers heaven. The next victim that is going to try to steal away Champion loyalists will be an Arizona microbrewery but for all their altitude, they won't even stand a chance. Historical Downtown Gilbert is only big enough for one sheriff and that's why he's the Champion. Pros: smaller tabs, nice scenery, great rear parking more

Cute servers Cold drinks 6/9/2005

Dive bar at it's best. This is the Cheers of the West. I'm 22 and I never thought I would call a Neiborhood bar home. 2 Pool tables, 4 dart boards. They just bought a new downloadable jokebox it's awesome. Pros: Good prices, cute bartenders, friendly crowd Cons: needs more females more
