I went to this Office Depot knowing the item I wanted and had called ahead to make sure they had it. When I got there, the salesperson had a big stack of things that I "needed" to go with my original item. Initially, it was no big deal, considering I have been in retail sales myself, and know the pressure to increase the sale. So I asked specifically about each item - do I actually need it or is there one included with the original item? I was told there were two additional items that I absolutely needed - so I bought them, for an additional $100. When I got home, it turned out the items I "needed" were already included in the original item!
I don't mind buying additional necessary items, but do not apppreciate the dishonest oversell. I will not go back to this store and won't recommned it to anyone.
