The Dillingham location is the oldest Office Depot in Hawaii and also the smallest. The aisles can get pretty crowded, especially if you're using a shopping cart. Prices are on par with the competitors, namely Officemax and the local store, Fisher Hawaii. The key thing is watching their weekly specials for the occasional loss-leader being sold at a substantial discount (usually after a mail-in rebate or rebates). Otherwise, make sure you comparison shop "sale" items, as they are often advertised at retail price.
There are two cool differentiators for Office Depot. The first is that you can place an order online for pickup at the location. Though the website says to give them four hours, the Dillingham store seems to get it done within an hour. Second, sign up for the free Office Depot Advantage program. It's a frequent-shopper program, but offers significant rewards based on your quarterly spending. For example, if you spend $200 in a quarter, you get a gift card for $20 in the mail. That's 10%!
