Off-Track Betting: Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon

Normally I don't post on these, but after reading that last comment, I couldn't help myself. I've been going to the Sundance for years, not just on Tuesdays, but Fridays and Saturdays as well. I have always enjoyed my experience there and have certainly never seen any form of racism from the employees. In fact, I know that they actually have employed people of many different races, including African-Americans, and have a few working there now. From my personal experience, when a customer is asked to leave the establishment, it is because of disorderly conduct, excessive intoxication or drinking underage (which is pretty standard at any other bar you go to). And more often than not, comments like these come from stupid young kids who are angry about getting kicked out and think claiming racism or saying ""my daddy is a lawyer..."" will free them of any responsibility for their stupid (not to mention illegal) actions. But regardless, in my opinion, the Sundance is a top notch establishment where I and my friends will continue to frequent. Keep it up guys, see you this weekend! more

I used to enjoy coming to Sundance for a fantastic time (on tuesday nights). This country bar never failed! Until I experienced racism from the employees first hand when I brought my African American roommate on a typical tuesday night. Employees threatened my friend making racial slurs and discriminating him for his color. They even harassed me simply for being with him, , one of the employes them even stated, ""we are going to hunt you down"". I now am extremely disappointed in this place of business and will not be going again, and please do not go unless you support racism. more

Im a country girl, and after visiting this establishment for my first time last month, I was pleased! What a wonderful atmosphere and the free ladies night, a GIANT plus! more

We go for the steak and stay for the dancing. The community here is wonderful and friendly. It's a great way to meet new people and isn't the typical pick up scene. more

this place does not even deserve one star.... they detained our friend illegaly and they think they know what they are doing. i am a resident of fort collins i will never go there again. brunette is a mean slut grrrr. i a gave them my lawyers number we will see if they are still in business in a year from now...
