I love dining at Off The Hook when visiting Tahoe. The restaurant is cozy and cute and run by the most awesome people. The rolls are delicious and creative and you must also try the honey prawns! I actually crave them! For a really great time, you must visit this place - it really is 'OFF THE HOOK!' more

Fun atmosphere with fresh sushi 4/5/2008

We LOVE this place. The restaurant is owned by awesome people and the sushi is super fresh. If you go there during happy hour (4:30-6) they have really cheap hand rolls. I love the ""sugar momma"" roll. Pros: great food, great price at happy hour, yummy desserts Cons: parking, sometimes real noisy more

Bad customer service 3/15/2008

We arrived at the restaurant and we were seated at a table. 30 minutes went by without any service from the wait staff. One person stopped by to ask if we have been helped, thats it. Finally someone comes to take our order, but they are out of the sushi I ordered. By this time the restaurant was half empty and I can't figure out why it took another 30 minutes for our food. Our drinks were not refilled, the goofy eyed looking server was rude. Once we were finished eating, there was never an apology about the extremely long waits.
