I go to PSU; I'm hardly impressed by anything dubbed new age anymore, mostly because, well, it's just not new. New would be an entire store devoted to tap-dancing piglets, or something. But I digress. The real find in this store is the wall-o-spices. Yes, you can buy galangal! And bonus points if you can actually use it in anything you cook. The spacey staff watches you as you browse, and the laughably small and inaccurate "Belly Dance" section is a hoot for anyone in the know about the tradition of the dance. But hey, if you want to drape yourself in chiffon and prance about, throwing galangal at passers-by, why not?
