Odyssey Dining Cruise

I bought an Odyssey dinner cruise to my wife for her birthday. We both were very disappointed in all categories.\r Right from the start, the photographer who was suppose to take our photo boarding the ship, didn't even asked us as we walked by him. Later, in a ship when we find out about it, we ask him to take one on the deck with the skyline, he couldn't get his camera to work. He left us 10 minutes to go get a new one and still couldnt get it to take a picture, and when he finally got one it was dark with no skyline on the background. Said to us that it was programmed for daylight, and he couldn't change that. We had to settle for a dark pic with nothing to show in the background.\r The dinner not an upscale at all. Everything is pre prepared in advanced then microwaved. Salades, soggy with bad leaves. \r Our waiter, never checked on us after we got the meals, didn't even asked us if everything was ok.\r Right from the start, I know it won't be as glamorous as it looked online. The floors and the set up is not that clean nor fancy. \r Even on the cruise you don't really get to see much after the first hour when the ship leaves the dock.\r A cruise in daytime would definitely be better.\r When you spend close to 430 dollars for two, and you get this kind of service and low quality food and beverage. It definitely does not inspire you to go back. more

I took the wife on a Dinner cruise to celebrate our 13th Wedding Anniversary. We had a great time on the ship. The staff was attentive and extremely helpful. We had great weather. While the food wasn't the best I've had it was good and they were able to make modifcations to the order. I think the drink prices seem a little high. We had a wonderful time dancing to the band as did most of the couples that were onboard. I enjoyed my experience. It is a little pricey, but I recommend it highly for a romantic and scenic dinning expericence. more

I booked a cruise for 16 people over a month ago so they added me to their marketing list. Today I got an e-mail from them offering a 20% discount for anyone who books from today on--if I'd waited I could have saved over $150. I wouldn't recommend that anyone book with them until the absolute last minute. I've received a lot of these discount e-mails from them, they obviously offer discounts all the time. more

I did a cruise over the summer and it was really fun. Everybody on the cruise was fun, upbeat and the food was really good as well. Luckily we had nice weather but you really have to depend on the weather of course. Overall a very positive experience. more

For the price of this evening and Odyssey's self-classification of "fine dining", you would expect great food and service. Wow, were we wrong. The food was clearly microwaved and absolutely terrible... I mean inedible, honestly . Had to send back our meal twice, it was so bad. We've been on this cruise before, about 3 years ago, and I have to say everything has changed. This cruise has clearly had to cut corners and has no qualms about passing the losses onto its customers. My advice, DO NOT bother on this cruise unless you just want to be on a boat. If so, trust me, there are others in the city. This was just horrendous service and food. My company held a work function on the odyssey last week and it was a great time. The food was fantastic and the views of Boston were awesome. I highly recommend the odyssey to anyone who is looking for a great experience and fun environment. more

Odyssey dinner cruise was really impressive. I went with a group of colleagues and will encourage my friends to go on this more often. The food was excellent, with several choices (salmon was A+). No other restaurant can beat the views you get from your table or the lounge area. I have to admit dinner hasnt been that fun in a long time. If you love boating than you'll love the Odyssey. This boat is amazing and the food was great! It was so incredible to cruise the Boston Harbor at night. Inside they have a DJ,dancing and a bar. I would recommend taking a dinner cruise on board the Odyssey to Everyone! They even validate for parking, how can you go wrong with that. Cons: None more

Our group boarded last week and had a wonderful time. The crew was very accommodating and the food was very good, I would definitely book our next outing on Odyssey. Beautiful views of Boston from all directions. more

I am so glad we made the decision to host my 50th birthday party aboard the Odyssey! The food was phenomenal, the staff was superb and the views - breathtaking! The process of booking the event was so smooth and flawless; I would recommend this to anyone planning a special occasion!! more
