I brought my parents here for their last night in town, so it was my spouse, myself, our 4 year old, and my 55ish mom and dad. We wanted something casual so that we could sit outside by the beach, and then go walking on the sand after dinner. The food was ok but very overpriced. It wasn't a casual restaurant, even though we didn't feel underdressed. My son had a kid's meal that consisted of half a cup of pasta with some red sauce on it for six bucks... no vegetables or anything. We all just had water to drink so the cost of the food was exclusively the meals and the bill was just under 150 dollars. I would have rather come somewhere like this on a date night, not a random Tuesday evening. My spouse ordered the filet mignon and it was not at all a proper cut of beef. There was way too much fat to be a filet, and for what you were paying, it should have been better for sure. My salad was 18 dollars by the time I added some grilled chicken. For a beachfront place, the seafood was not Florida style either. Everything seemed to have a heavy sauce on it. I expected to see a grouper selection too and there was none. I'd like to have seen more Floridian style food (rock lobster, stone crab, citrus sauces, lime cilantro rice, mussels, etc) and a more "by the beach" feel. The restaurant right next door had much more of that feel, plus live music. I'd go there next time.
