Ocean Breeze Waterpark

Ocean Breeze Water Park is a nice place to spend then day, especially if you have small children. They can entertain themselves for hours on the kiddie slides and in the wading pool. There are a fair amount of larger slides for the older children but it probably wouldn't keep them occupied for an entire day. Everyone loves the tidal pool, and wait with great anticipation for the next group of waves to come rolling out. more

This is a great local waterpark. There are waterslides and a wavepool that makes it great for kids. Also, you can buy beer which is unusual for a water park. They have tubes and lockers that can be rented for a small price to put your valuable belongings more

We had the opportunity to visit this park while on vacation with some friends. We enjoyed it and found there was enough to do to keep us busy all day. The prices seemed a little high to us $19 for an Adult and $15 for a child 3 and up. I don’t think a 3 year old gets $15 dollars worth of excitement here. They do have a lot of different slides, a nice area for children to play in and an arcade to visit if you just don’t want to be in the water anymore. The good was typical for a theme park in value and taste. The parking is good here. Worth a visit but I can’t imagine going there often. more

Ocean Breeze Water Park is a very nice water park. It has a huge gorilla that is seen at the park entrance on General Booth Blvd... there's no way you'll miss this park entrance! They offer plenty of water rides both for kids, teenagers, and adults. There's also a gift shop for souvenirs. The lines are long during the weekends and during the holidays but it's worth the wait. Ocean Breeze Water Park admission is also fairly cheap. We used to spend the whole day here... there are plenty of chairs with umbrellas to sit in so you can literally just relax all day here-- just bring lots of sunblock. Even if you forgot an extra shirt or the sunblock, the gift shop has a variety of items to choose from. This is a great place for those humid days. This is a great place to go to if you're visiting or if you're a local. The nicest thing about this place is that it's close enough to restaurants and to the beach that after a long day at the waterpark, you can go grab lunch/dinner afterwards. We enjoyed this place as kids and now we're enjoying it as adults with our kids! more

Maybe my rating for Ocean Breeze is not that high because I am now older. I had an okay time, but my cousin's seemed to have a blast riding all the rides and swimming. The park is very family friendly, so if you have pre-teen children who can amuse themselves by playing in the water all day go right ahead and bring them here. Some of the bigger water slides are still fun for the older crowd though. The park isn't that expensive either. Versus their other main water park competition, Water Country USA, you get what you pay for. A smaller park with less rides, but you can have fun out of the trip. more

Ocean Breeze Water Park is a great place to spend a hot day with the kids (or without them). It has lots of cool slides and water rides. There's a great kid's area too. If you go to Ocean Breeze, I'd recommend getting the half-day $10 pass. There's really not enough there to occupy much more time, as the park is fairly small. There's a few slides and not much else, although it will probably be amusing enough for young children. If you're looking for real excitement, spend the extra money and head out to Water Country USA, which has a lot more for all age groups. If you just want an easy-on-the-wallet day of water slides, however, Ocean Breeze just may be the perfect place! more

If you want to go to a waterpark while on vacationing in Virignia Beach, you need to look no further than Ocean Breeze. It has many things to do and is right down the street rather than taking the long drive to Williamsburg. It has many slides, a wave pool, a kiddie area, a lazy river, many shaded places to go, a concessions area and sometimes, movies and music at night. There are many lifeguards and life vests for those to use and I feel it is a very safe place to go with kids. I really enjoyed our time there and hope you will too! more

We Love to go to Ocean Breeze!! This is a great water park for all ages. They have a ton of slides and wave pool and even something for the little ones. They also have a miniture golf course and my kids favorite is the race cars. So much stuff to do and we can spend the whole day at Ocean breeze. Highly recommended on your next visit to Virginia Beach. more
