Dr. Ocampo is the best dentist ever, hands down.\r I have been going to Dr. Ocampo for over 20 years. I suffer from dental anxiety Dr. Ocampo and his staff are amazing at making sure the whole ordeal is as painless and easy as possible. He is very professional and knowledgeable and explains in great detail. I am always very pleased with the results.\r His office is a hidden treasure he uses state –of-the –art equipment as well has a friendly and exceptional staff that are very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend Imperial Dental. I live in the city of Alhambra and I found Imperial dental through a family member and thought let's give them a try. The drive is long but quite worth it They are extremely clean and really into detail. I am so impressed with their service. I needed implant dentistry as well as porcelain veneers for my teeth. Now I have a celebrity smile. The prices were pretty affordable. Went for 3 years and didn't figure out the fraud until I moved to a new dentist because of location. On my examination, Dr. Ocampo explained that my x-rays showed a CAVITY. I distinctly remember this as I have NEVER had a cavity in my entire life. I asked to see the cavity in the X-rays and he showed me an area of my teeth that was whiter than the others. I told him I was confused, as I had come to understand that cavities are holes in teeth, & he didn't answer the question but told me it would spread & said that my insurance, Delta Care USA didn't cover a white, porcelain filling because it was considered a cosmetic procedure, but would cover a metallic filling, that would show in my smile, and it was my choice. I took a night to consider the $150 fee, and then scheduled an appointment for what I now am told was a decacification procedure between two teeth that are not even visible. more

I first started going to Dr.Ocampo twenty years ago. He did some restoration work, pulled a few fillings and gave me a beautiful new crown on my front tooth. Through the years he's done tremendous work for myself, my daughter and friends I've referred. Let me say this in light of the ""greedy"" criticism,when I lost my insurance and times were tight he worked with me on a payment plan. This is not an isolated situation because an actor friend I referred had painful root canal work done and Dr. Ocampo came to the rescue letting him pay with time. I'm not implying he's a charity case dentist. He is a professional.It just goes to show the quality of the man. For Quality dentistry in a a clean environment please consider Dr. Ocampo. more

I HAVE NEVER BEEN GOOD ABOUT GOING TO THE DENTIST. I HAVE BEEN SCOLDED & LECTURED BY OTHER DOCTORS. THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO DR OCAMPO, HE MADE A GREAT EFFORT TO CALM MY NERVES. HE MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE BEFORE I EVEN OPENED MY MOUTH...HIS BEDSIDE MANNER MAKES IT EASIER FOR ME TO BE IN THE CHAIR. THE GIRLS IN THE FRONT ARE NICE & ALWAYS HELPFUL. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE WHEN I GO THERE. more

I am glad I went to his office because he thoroughly explained the work he was planning to do, and showed me exactly what my smile would look like after the work was done.He also worked out an affordable plan for me. more

I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Ocampo and Imperial Dental for the past 12 years, Used to go to Western Dental but didn't receive personal service. When I found Dr. Ocampo's office I felt at home, He makes you feel very comfortable and is very attentive to your needs. The entire staff from the front office to the other doctors and assistants are genuinely caring and easy to talk to. I also take my 16, 9, and 7 year old children to Dr. Ocampo's office because he is caring with little people too. He has so much experience, that he is very good with children as well. I have recommended my friends and brothers and mother here too and have not had one single complaint. There is no hard selling here, You have your consultation with a knowledgeable staff member or doctor and YOU make the decision. It's a great place to take care of your teeth. I am always greeted with a nice smile and and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes after my appointment time. If you want a great doctor, go to Dr. Ocampo's office, you won't regret it. He's terrific. more

Imperial Dental, AKA Dr. Ocampo is the absolute worst place to go for any dental care. The receptionist and other staff are rude, the office does not care about your dental health, they want your $$$$. I was in pain, bleeding for quite some time. I finally got some dental insurance and went to Dr. Ocampo's office. After a 2 minute exam by the Dr, I was told I would need $10K worth of work, and my insurance would not pay for any of it. The next question from the office was ""I wanted to know if you were thinking of Veneers?"" I'm thinking,"" how about stopping my pain and bleeding before we discuss 20K in fake teeth? Take my advice, DONT GO! more

I had such a bad experience with this office first of all the receptionist are rude and seem to be bothered. They have a full lobby with about 6 people with appointment at the same time and your typical wait is and hour and a half that's the minimum once your sitting in the exam chair you have another 30 min wait Dentist comes in and in less than 5 minutes he's done no question answered just walks away and leaves you with the assistant who doesn't know much and they just do a basic cleaning and tell you what ever work you need to get done needs to be at your next appointment a month later to juice your insurance! Will not make EXCEPTIONS even if you are in dieing pain they have no feelings or compassion toward patients. I've seen them turn people away or make them sit for hours and the receptionist tell them they will not see them to comeback another day. What kind of service is this? Please think twice before coming in. Cons: Long waits and bad service!!!! more
