I prefer working with small shops rather than large chain stores, so I thought I'd give OC Computres a try. My VGA card on my laptop went out. I took my computer in to get the data transfer files from the laptop hard drive to an external HD. The didn't call me with a price for the work. Then called to tell me the bill was $160. That's over $60 more than quotes from Best Buy and Fry's. They did the work without giving me a quote. I was held over a barrel and had to pay the money to get my laptop back. NEVER use these guys. more

To anyone reading this, PLEASE, do not bring your computer to this store. I was lied to by their technicians, told on two accounts that my repair was completed and then called again to say it actually wasn't, and had to wait over a month to get back my laptop. When I went to retrieve it, after being told the fan had been replaced and that it was successful, I was given back my laptop in its broken condition. It turned out that no repairs had been done, the technician had been lying about the repair status over the phone, and that the technician had actually been on vacation as of over a week before coming in. After all this, they tried to get me to pay a ""diagnostic fee"" and I walked out with my computer. NOW, I am reviewing on CitySearch because on Yelp (where they have a 1 star rating) this business has commented on all of the reviews stating that we're lying (they accused me of being unfair, and that I got a ""free repair"" so I shouldn't complain) and to look on citysearch. And as I look here, I'm pretty damn sure that most if not all of the below reviews are false- considering they have had trouble on Yelp because they wrote multiple fake reviews in attempt to balance out all the negative reviews. Seriously, just look- one of the 5 star reviews on here is actually from their business advertising their open hours and stuff. Do your research, and check out Yelp's reviews. Please, don't bring your computer here. more

This place is fast compared to other places. I, only once, took my laptop to a well known place and they took a week to get back to me on what the issue was and then another to fix it. With OC Computers, I had taken my laptop for a similar problem and within 3 hours they called me and told me what needed to be done and on top of that they fixed it the next day!!! I would definitely recommend them for their quick service and repairs. Their prices meet the expectation and more. more

I took my computer to best buy, an they were unable to fix it, so brought it to Oc Computers and they where very helpfull and fas service more

I had a bad hard drive, and oc computers did a data recovery on it and was able to retrive all my data in the same day, thank you Oc Computers more
