You should see the lines in summer! 5/3/2006

The lines are literally out the door during summertime. Of course they sell some great ice cream, but they also sell eggs, cheese and other dairy items. All their products are first rate. It all began in 1915 when Peter Oberweis began selling his extra milk to friends and neighbors. They state that their milk is 100% pure, free of antibiotics or additives. more

Fantastic Ice Cream and Goodies! 3/16/2006

Special note to Oberweis: I LOVE YOU!! This ice cream shop has to be one of the coolest ones around. It just feels fun when you walk inside. Stuffed cows and mugs line the shelves, cool music is blaring through the speakers, and you can just hear the ice cream calling your name (hey, I hear it, don't you?) My favorite has to be the dulce le leche with a sprinkled waffle cone. Makes me feel like a five year old again! I also love their milk and cheddar cheese (for sale inside the store). The raspberry sundae is another favorite of mine. Mmmm, I'm making myself hungry just writing this review. Good thing I have their stuff in my freezer as we speak. Bring on the ice cream!! more

Treat Yourself! 10/22/2005

This place is packed with ice cream lovers in the summer and with good reason. The stuff is rich and creamy and comes in a variety of flavors. A clean very brightly lit place with a few tables makes you feel confident about the cleanliness and freshness of the product. They also sell milk, cream, sour cream and some other milkman kind of stuff. The milk is noticeably different from the supermarket stuff - maybe fresher? You can have any kind of soda or sundae you want here, or a cone or a cup or a milkshake....mmmm. more
